Lebanon has borne the mark of holiness since ancient biblical times. Often interpreted from the Syriac Leb-Non—meaning "The Heart of God"—this sacred land is home to the mighty Cedar. Representing nobility, strength, and incorruptibility, the Cedar was the wood chosen by God for Solomon’s Temple, the ultimate symbol of His presence.
